Dr. Jigar Desai is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Specialist. He completed his MBBS from BJ Govt. Medical College and Sasoon General Hospital, Pune, followed by his MS in Orthopaedics from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
From 2019 to 2024, he served as an Assistant Professor at KEM Hospital, managing complex sports injuries within the Orthopaedics Department. He received advanced training in Arthroscopic Surgeries from Ewha Women’s University, Seoul, South Korea under Prof. Shin, and from Ospidale Cervisi, Cattolica, Italy under Prof. Paolo Palidini.
His expertise lies in the management of knee and shoulder injuries, with a special focus on Arthroscopic (keyhole) surgeries for faster recovery and improved outcomes.
He is an active member of several renowned associations including the Bombay Orthopaedic Society, Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS), Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons (ISHKS), ISKSAA, Indian Arthroplasty Society, and Navi Mumbai Orthopaedics Association (NMOA).
